For real-time image analysis, traffic monitoring and security applications, TCVIDEO grabs top quality video images with the minimum of fuss.

TCVIDEO is a PC/104-Plus video frame grabber board. It captures PAL and NTSC video at up to 768 x 576 pixel resolution, at full 25Hz or 30Hz frame rates. It will also sub-sample, scale, and clip images to grab smaller images at various lower resolutions and frame rates.

TCVIDEO transfers data through the PCI bus of TP400 and TP300 boards. TCVIDEO is based on the BT878A chip, which transfers data across the PCI bus efficiently, acting as a PCI bus master, using a flexible DMA scheme.

TCVIDEO selects from four composite video inputs with an in-built analog multiplexer, and an extra input for chrominance when using S-Video signals. These signals are routed to five phono connectors. External strobe inputs and trigger outputs and GPIO pins are available, and the board can route the system +12V power supply to external cameras.
