DSP Design expand their range of PC/104 boards by launching their latest product the Artemis XA270, based on RISC technology using the XScale™ PXA270™ processor clocked at 520MHz.
The Artemis XA270 provides an incredible performance per Watt - the high performance, low power, small footprint and extensive feature list make this the ideal PC/104 board to base your design on now and in the future.
The Artemis XA270 provides the features and expansion capability to satisfy most applications, the board provides: on-Board DRAM (128MB) and Flash (64MB), 16bit LCD TFT controller, 4 wire touch screen, five RS232channels, 10/100 Base-T Ethernet, USB (1 x client & 4 x host), GPIO, Audio, I2C, PC/104 high speed bus. Artemis is supplied with Microsoft Windows Embedded CE 5.0 preinstalled.
The Artemis XA270 allows embedded developers and OEMs to differentiate themselves from their competitors and get to market first. Artemis XA270 is provided with Windows Embedded CE 5.0 allowing developers to make full use of the .NET Compact Framework. The alternative is a costly hardware design and OS development project taking from 8 to 18 months before the application specific development can start.
