The TG533 is PCI-104 compliant and packs a rich selection of features into the 90x96mm package. As standard the product offers 4 RS232 serial channels, 4 USB Ports, 10/100Base-T Ethernet, DDR SDRAM via a SODIMM socket and a 24-bit TFT interface.

The OnTime™ clock plugs into an Ethernet jack on a local area network – no AC plug is required, so installation is inexpensive and it’s easy to move clocks around. Power is supplied over the data wiring using the IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet standard, the same power source as Voice-over-IP telephones.

Aurora PDA - a new dawn for embedded computing |
DSP Design has announced the first of a range of new embedded computer boards, based on PDA technology. The AuroraPDA family incorporates very high functionality with very low power consumption on a board measuring only 85.4 x 63.8mm (3.36 x 2.51”).
The first members of the AuroraPDA family are the Aurora 1100 and the Aurora 110E. They are based on the AMD Alchemy Au1100 system-on-chip RISC processor and are built on the same printed circuit board. The highly specified Aurora 1100 is available ready-loaded with Windows CE .NET, whilst the entry level Aurora 110E has a functional subset of the Aurora 1100 and is designed for use in simpler applications.

The TE486 is a new entry level embedded controller board from DSP Design. Based on the STPC Elite 486-level x86 processor operating at up to 133MHz and including a maths co-processor for fast number crunching, the TE486 provides a simple yet powerful solution to less demanding embedded computing problems.
TE486 supports a wide range of peripherals making it a highly practical solution for many applications and as it is pin compatible with all other boards from DSP Design provides an inexpensive upgrade path.
