DSP Design partners with Lanner Inc to bring new high performance embedded products to the UK DSP Design is pleased to announce a collaboration agreement which appoints DSP Design as the exclusive distributor for Lanner Inc of Taiwan in the UK & Ireland.

This is an exciting opportunity for both parties and for customers in the UK and Ireland. Lanner has a broad range of Applied and Industrial computing products that include low cost, high performance x86 based processor boards in a number of form factors. These products are ideally suited for markets such as: Gaming, Digital Signage, Kiosks, etc.

DSP Design has a long track record in the UK embedded market and has a range of small form factor, low power consumption RISC based products. The combination of these two product ranges allows DSP Design to offer a solution to almost every embedded computing application.

EG533  - A board of EPIC proportions! The introduction of the Internationally adopted EPIC format for Embedded Computers processor board has brought with it DSP Design’s most versatile board yet. The first EPIC board from DSP Design is based on the New AMD GX533@1.1W processor and is equivalent in performance to the VIA Eden but at a significantly lower power budget.

The EPIC EG533 board is designed to be equally at home with a range of embedded operating systems, including DOS, Windows CE, Windows XP Embedded, QNX or Linux. The EG533 is featured packed and is easy-to-use with many of the peripherals on conventional industry standard connectors.
